SETTING UP DUTIES

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE – MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK AT CMLAC 

GENERAL SET UP

  • BRING ALL REQUIRED EQUIPMENT FROM STORE ROOM (store room located below club rooms)
  •  SET UP COUNCIL SIGNS (2)
  • ASSIST WITH SETTING UP TENT(S)
  • SET UP CMLAC FLAGS (X2) AT TOP OF CLUB HOUSE
  • ASSIST WITH SET UP OF TIMING STATIONS (tables, chairs, etc)
  •  2 x SPEAKERS FOR MICROPHONE (POSITIONED UP AT CLUB HOUSE)

AGE GROUP SET UP

  •  ASSIST WITH REGISTRATION/UNIFORMS (in Club House)
  •  AGE GROUP MANAGER FOLDERS (found in Club House) – ENSURE ALL INFO IS ENCLOSED & placed in appropriate age group tubs
  •  AGE GROUP TUBS – PLACE IN ORDER OF AGE GROUPS (U6G,U6B,U7G,U7B ETC)

TRACK EVENTS

  • SPRINTS SET UP – 100M, 70M & 50M* PLACE CONES AT START TO MARK EACH EVENT, (100M, 70M & 50M)
  • 200M SPRINTS SET UP* 1 X TABLE* WALKIE TALKIE X 1 – ensure batteries are OK

    * STARTER GUN

    * PLACE CONES AT START OF 200M TO MARK EACH LANE

  • 400M, 800M, 1500M SET UP* PLACE CONES AROUND PERIMETER OF 400M TRACK

THROW EVENTS

  • PLACE ‘CONES’ AROUND PERIMETER OF THROW EVENT AREA
  • PLACE DISCUS TROLLEY AT END CLOSEST TO CLUBHOUSE AND SHOT  TROLLEY AT FAR END.
  • METAL ARCS IN POSITION
  • 1 TABLE & 1 CHAIR AT EACH THROW
  • PLACE ONE TAPE MEASURE AND MEASURING ROD AT EACH CIRCLE

HIGH JUMP SET UP

  • HIGH JUMP MATS (X4)
  • 4 BARS/ROPES

JUMPS – LONG JUMP/TRIPLE JUMP SET UP

  • 4 TABLES & 4 CHAIRS
  • RAKE, BROOM & SHOVEL AT END OF EACH JUMP
  • MEASURING TAPES + MEASURING RODS
  • JUMP MATS X 2
